On my way back to Socorro from Roswell, I saw the cloud inversion at one of the mountain peaks at Valle del Sol. The inversion itself already made a good picture, but I patiently waited for the sunset to set on the side of the road. At one point, the sun at the horizon peaked through clouds on the opposite side and cast its warm light on a portion of the grassy foreground, and I knew this was it. I think this picture really captures the multitude of colors during a sunset after raining/snowing. The event is
