Taken at a Hello Kitty Playhouse just outside of Tokyo. It was a fun time for the family.<br />

The photo is okay, I guess. The challenge was shooting in a low light situation with a 100mm lens. We still live in an age where most of our cameras produce more noise than we want and this factors in too our decisions of how high we bump up our ISO. With the 7D, that I am currently shooting with, I do have the built in pop-up flash which I do often use for shots such as this one but in this location they asked for “No Flash Photography” thus we are left trying to find a location where the subject will be aligned with the in-house (often swirling) lights. All this to ask, any tips on how I could have reduced the shadow lines while maintain the high contrast? I know that I can brush her face in Lightroom but I would prefer to learn how to do it from the camera.
