3000 year old doll from the Jomon period -Japan

Andreas: That's the exact switch I made, and I've only 'regretted' it once--when shooting in Arches National Park in Utah in a snow/hail/rain/thunder/lightning storm. The weather sealed nature of the 17-40 would have been nice, and I wasn't sure that the Zeiss would take the weather so nicely.

My English Springer Spaniel Bertie, sitting on top of a bale taking in the view. Any rabbits ,hares or pheasants?

Thanks guys. This light is only available in Antelope Canyon at 11am and last just a few minutes so I had to work fast. Of the 50 or so shots I took in the Canyon only about a dozen shots turned out.

Hi, this is a piece the waterfront area of the old city of Otranto, on the extreme southern tip of the italian Adriatic sea :), famous for its Martyrs of the Turks' siege in 1482, and for the immense Tree of Life mosaic floor of the magnificent romanic cathedral plus is the same city as in the "Castle of Otranto", gothic short novel by Sir Horace Walpole written in the early XIXth century
