Saw this on a wall by the River Stort, Herts./Essex border (UK) -- there was a metal mesh fence in front but by using my 180mm lens at a wide aperture I put it out of focus and it vanished ! I used my A24 back loaded with 2003 dated Kodak Portra 400 VC film size 220 I got off e-bay cheap and downrated it as it was outdated, and processed it myself in C41 -- I did a 'saturation' increase on the scan of the negative.
Thanks, Stephen. It is the Chateau (castle) de Saint Germain en Laye, a royal castle in the vicinity of Paris. It is, incidentally, where James II of England and James VII of Scotland died in exile after the Jacobite episode.
It was built and then modified in many stages, and, lastly, at the hands of restorer Viollet-le-Duc, who believed not only in restoring old buildings, but also in "improving" them... hence the very mixed style.
I hope you didn't trade the MG for this truck!
