It looks like there is some pixelation in the background. Instead of smooth textures, the background appears to have some rather unpleasant artifacts. It could just be the site magnifying the image more than its normal size.\n\n\n
We don't compress or magnify the images you upload here. However, I do see what you are referring to. I am guessing it is a window or door screen of some sort in the background.
Rick, this one is on the island of Hiddensee in the Baltic near Stralsund, Germany. Nice boat ride out there, then pleasant hiking, and some smoked fish and beer, and then back to Stralsund. Cliff
Thanks Stephen. This is my Llewellin Setter and he was happy to be in the field. He is thinking about some birds. Your dog looked quite happy on top of his hay bale a few weeks ago. This was from scanned Kodak 35mm BW400 C41 process negative then toned in photoshop. I found the Contaflex in a local flea market for $25 last year with the Tessar lens both in excellent condition. I'll be putting up some BW from my darkroom: prints scanned on my Epson GT1500. cliff
Thanks Stephen. I caught this friendly little fellow from the deck of a ship last week while (whilst) headed from Stralsund, Germany to Hiddensee Island for a day hike. cliff

Good catch.
